ROB E. WELCH
Born in Columbus, OH, I have always felt like I needed to create. Over 30+ years of self taught experience ranging from illustration to production design, sculpting to digital painting.
In, 2002, I started my new life in Seattle, WA, where my creative side blossomed into the Film industry. I learned every aspect of the art department in pre-production, production, & post-production, giving me a well rounded sense of my creative future. Art shows and curating for local Capitol Hill Art Walk, Sign design and creation, as well as, building an artist community is what Seattle, WA gifted me.
In 2017, Santa Fe, NM became the next chapter in my life. Understanding the art community in Santa Fe, will take time, and will become my new home for my creative future.
Fast Forward to, 2021, post-ish pandemic, Frist real Set Decorator job on a Western. Now with 7 film projects under my belt here in New Mexico. Networking and collaborating with more and more creative people. The opportunities are endless and continue to further ,y creative passion for film and the like.
